LuLu, inspired by an old nickname, is the guts of the operation. Without her, we would not only be doing a whole lot of walking but also a lot of second-guessing. However, she is a little older (much like us), so she needed a few updates before we even got started and while out on the road as well. We learned a lot along the way of what we could or could not live without. These are a few of those things.
As some may know, my favorite low-time, high-time, and all-around pastime was whooping it up. While I still consider life a party, I do it differently these days. Before I started this journey, I needed to truly work on my mental health which is equally, if not more so, as important as one's physical health. This led not only to living healthier but also to another book that I am currently working on today. It includes information about my own personal struggles and the journey that led to this one. From sober(ish) living and a healthier mindset to the importance of intermittent fasting, eating cleaner and healthier, and how HEALTHY supplements can play a supporting role. I don't always whoop but when I do, THERE IT IS! Even though life looks different now, the majority of my life was spent in or working behind a bar so how fitting it would be to WRITE A BOOK about it. This amusing compilation addresses pretty much every scenario that I have ever encountered inside the bar. While a few may find some of the material judgemental, it makes it perfectly acceptable when you used to be that gurgling, slurring, and obnoxious nincompoop. Also inside, you will find puns, sarcasm, bitchiness, recipes, jokes, and more. This truly was an enjoyable book to write with many memories (some I couldn't entirely remember) and reconnecting with many I have come to love and annoy!
You may find this hard to believe since single has looked good on me for most of my life, but I have a couple of books related to love and relationships in the making as well.
